Hearts have a budget of 160K at the start of the season. Good players I have noticed are:

Lee Miller (Striker) from Falkirk. They will be unwilling to sell him for the asking price, but 50k should do it for a young striker with great ability.

Mark Kerr (Centre Midfield) from Falkirk. Usually costs around 100k. Great Midfielder, and one for the future, being 20.

Emannuel Osei Kuffour (AM) from Anzhi. Usually costs around 120K. Is 26 and Ghonaen, but is an outstanding addition to the team. Can pass like a Viking.

After the first season, assuming you are still in the SPeeL, you should get up to £1m to spend. The best country to invade is Sweden, although wages are crippling. Here are some recommendations :

Jeffrey Aubyan (MR) from ????? Good player - Better than boyack...

Or, of course, Dunddee Utd usually go into receivership after season 1, and you can buy :

Danny Griffin, Stuart Duff, Derek Lilley or Paul Gallacher.

New CM tips. Players free at end of season one: Not all of these players will want to leave the club at the end of the season, and may sign new contracts before they expire and leave the club, but here are a few useful ones anyway: Ivan de la Pena - VERY good midfielder. Haruna Babangida - Right Forward from Barcelona. Signings: Good players, if you got the money: Hugh Murray - Good right midfielder, cheap, as St. Mirren get bankrupt quickly. Gary O' Conner - Yes, I know. But he IS a good player, and if Hibs get relegated (which they usually do), you can get him for less than g's. Christian - Cooly named Brazilian striker, who should only cost about ,000. If you select Sveden as part of your leagur thingy at the start of the game, which you should, here are a few Svedish meatballs that are worthy: Tonton Zola Moukoko - Freed by Derby, even though he was brilliant in CM01/02, and is a decent 17 year old midfielder. Jahan Wiland - As I'm sure you have all noticed, Roddy is naff in CM4, and this guy is a cheap, adequite replacement.
